How we shampoo a residential room

Weekly house cleaning covers vacuuming. Carpet shampooing is an add-on on your scheduled visit, or a separate appointment if we are shampooing the whole house. When traffic lanes on your carpet start to look tired, or a cottage has sat closed through winter, we shampoo the rooms you point to — a residential job, not a commercial truck package built for restaurants.

An average 10×15 room is about $50, and that includes the chemicals. We vacuum, pre-treat the spots you mark, shampoo, and leave the carpet to dry on a normal indoor schedule. Stairs, hall runners, and rooms well past 10×15 are priced before we start so the invoice is not a surprise. Please leave a few fans out for us so we can set them to speed up the drying.

Most clients add this to a one-time or deep clean so the rest of the house is already finished. Hosts can request it on a BnB unit when a guest stay left more than a vacuum can handle. Year-round homes often do living rooms and the main hall once or twice a year.

Screens washed when they come out without a fight
Front entry, porch, or deck sweep so sand does not walk back in
Patio furniture wipe after a lake weekend
Oven interior, fridge interior, or both
Inside cabinets and drawers on an empty or move-out day
